Colombia: children, fruit & vallenato
a hill in the subburbs of santa marta
Tree used as a DIY electricity pole/street lamp.
with a lightswitch
Colombian kids from the neighbourhood
Josmelie (on the right) was amused that there were so many fruit that i hadnt heard and listed many many fruit to me to see which ones i know.
every couple of minutes the two year old would repeat a word.. very cute.
Tomate de arbol ( tree-tomato, or tomato from a tree)
this sweet fruit is not a tomato in any way. has nothing whatsoever in common with a tomato apart from the name, even the color of them is normally orange, its just a coincidence that this one was rather red.
"Playa de pescadores" (fishermans beach), Taganga in the background..
