we had to get off the bus and buy a boat ticket for 1 boliviano to get a small boat across the water. whilst watching out bus cross the water in another boat. there were about 22 of us in the small leaky boat with 4 life jackets. ahh bolivia.. you gotta love it.

small town on the other side. havnig missed lunch i was pretty glad to find an old lady frying up a big wok of tiny battered fishes. she served me up a little plastic bag with those fishes and some potatoes.

across the countries i have visited so far in south america, walls seem to be popular places for political statements. bolivias political climate is controversial at the moment.
though if the graffiti is anything to go by , stong support is certainly behind the indigenous president Evo Morales.
its strange hearing that the irish are moaning about the recession whilst seeing what bolivia is like.its truely a glass is half empty or half full type scenario.
