after some delays in cerro sombrero which due to just 3 buses per week is a very difficult place to get out of, i am slowly but surely im working my way back towards the sun.
at just 3 hours north of the blustery city of punta arenas, puerto natales is already a much more managable climate. found myself walking around in a T- shirt again and actually i have a red face from sunburn which im not too proud of. yep, it does feel like summer here. even though the town is surrounded by spectacular snowcapped mountains. also im delighted at the clarity of the photos that my new camera is taking and excited about tomorros to to torres del paine.
we are now travelling as 3 , myself paola and her 3 year old daughter, josefa which certainly adds a new dimension to my solitary world. so far it has been really nice and im chuffed at how cheap it is to bring a 3 year old along. almost everything is free, from accomodation to transport. just an ice cream or a baloon here or there and were happy. :-)
